Choosing IB subjects is a difficult art! In the UK and other countries in Europe in particular, you need make sure you have studied the correct subjects at school in order to be admitted to your course of choice.
Informed Choices is a website aimed at pupils aged 14 and upwards who are considering university and want information to help them choose the right subjects to study (usually at 6th form or college in UK schools).
The guidance is written by admissions directors from the 24 Russell Group universities and provides information on why subject choice matters. It is very UK focused, but can be relevant for other countries as well. We recommend that every student considering any other countries does lots of independent research to discover what that country or university's specific course requirements are.
Remember, this is general guidance only. For detailed and up-to-date information you will need to contact individual universities or (for the UK) look up courses on the UCAS website.
