Reflecting on super-curricular:
Think about books and journals, online enrichment, things you watch/listen to, visits and trips, projects and competitions, summer schools/taster days, relevant work experience, etc. It is not enough simply to list all the supra-curricular activities you have done, you need to analyse them.
Questions to help you analyse include:
• What did you do and why did you do it?
• How does it link to your current studies/future studies?
• What did you find interesting? Why?
• What did you learn?
• Did it change how you understand your subject? How?
• How did you/could you follow this up and develop your ideas further?
E.g.: My interest in Politics was kindled by “Race of a Lifetime” by Heilemann and Halperin. I enjoyed how the book showed the human side and the differing personalities of US politicians, highlighting both their Machiavellian and emotional natures.....
